Episode starts with Emir sitting at the grave of Feriha…..with a song playing in the background about fate, love, hurt, and the most difficult kind of separation…..

HATAY:

Moves to Hatay the village of the Yilmaz family….they are discussing the deaths of Feriha and Zehra….they are also talking about Zulal whose mother has passed away when she was at a very young age, and she was nursed with the mother milk of Zehra….therefore making Zulal a daughter of sorts. The step mother states she raised Zulal well and she will be able to take care of them and the house as well. Riza informs them that his desire to take to Istanbul and educate her not use her as a servant. The parents are reluctant…..they say she does not have the desire to be education….Riza explains that Zulal wants to be education just like his daughter who was able to accomplish this with a father as strict as he was…he continues that she will be education and he accept full responsibility for all the expenses in educating her…..this is a debt that I owe to my wife and to my daughter whom I put through hell while she was studying. Your daughter was raised on mother milk from Zehra therefore she is Zehra’s daughter making her my daughter as well. Step mother has a difficult time accepting this….Zulal apparently completely high school 3 years ago…..Zulal comes out and thanks both men for what they are doing for her…..

ISTANBUL:

Emir is walking the streets, there is a fire in the house and a woman crying that her child is trapped inside…no one will is able to go in and save the child….Emir runs in and saves the child as the new police woman “Can” shows up………he then goes back in as if he is wishing death upon himself…..when the fire and rescue show up they remove him unharmed from the house….

Again you see Emir at the grave of Feriha…..you also see Yavuz and Sanem show up at the cemetery where Yavuz explains to Sanem this is a ritual when he returns to Turkey that he goes to the cemetery to pay his respects to his father….when Sanem attempts to go along he stops her telling her certain things are traditional….he pays his respects then notices Emir…..he says to Emir that his father taught him to always be wary of his enemies….life has put forth in front of me an enemy that I can do nothing but feel sorry for…when I see you unfortunately I cannot pay attention to what my father taught me…continues with you are right in your own right….whatever you do now is for nothing.
Sanem asks that is Emir right, Yavuz tells her he is the leftover of an old enemy.

HATAY:

Zulal leaves with Riza & Omer for Istanbul. A woman pours water behind them (A Turkish tradition for someone traveling go quickly and safely and return quickly and safely)…the stepmother says you are wasting the water….do you think she will ever return from Istanbul….she does not have that look in her eyes.

ISTANBUL:

Yavuz and Sanem return home, and Yavuz is met by his bodyguard Kamil who must speak with him about a situation….to which Sanem objects….Yavuz tries to appease Sanem but Kamil will not give up….He gives him a letter from an old friend who apparently has passed away and is asking Yavuz to watch over his child “CAN”….

Emir again walking the streets gets into a fight as he notices someone robbing tourists….the man obviously has a death wish…he is brutally beaten….the robbers leave…he goes back for more…..the “CAN” shows up, she tries to stop him and recognizes him from the fire the previous night asks him if he is hero by night and a thug by day….she asks for ID he tells her to mind her business she pulls her badge and says this is her business and arrests him….

Yavuz tells Kamil to go and find police “CAN” but per the request of the letter the father does not was “CAN” to know anything about it…”CAN” is never to know that Yavuz was asked to watch over his child….they are amazed that they have to watch over a police officer….he instructs Kamil to go and find “CAN” and bring them together so that “CAN” realizes that Yavuz will be watching over her.

“CAN” says this friend…is a fighter, will not talk, has no ID, and kisses your hand…the male police officer welcomes Emir Sarafoglu and asks where he has been the past couple of days, that he has been missed…..”CAN” is surprised that the police officer knows him, and asks where is he going and why they are not taking his statement….he explains that Emir does not talk, does not explain anything….he does not speak…he has not been here for 3 days…and you arrived 3 days ago that is why you don’t know him…..this is normal…the female officer clerks are watching him on camera and speaking how good looking he is….

Koray arrives home the nanny is quitting, he tries to get her to stay to no avail. Hatice wants to take care of her grandson whom she insists on calling “Huseyin” but the boys name is “Kaan” …

Kamil is looking for “CAN” and is surprised that “CAN” is a female (CAN is more commonly known as a name for a male)…he informs Can that he is there to take her to meet with Yavuz Bey….to which she responds Yavuz Bey and that he brings his regards and awaits her arrival…she tells him he is going to be waiting a long time as she does not accept greetings from people she does not know, and not to waste her time…..

Gulsum apparently was assigned a teaching position in a distant village and therefore Kaan is staying with his father….Koray agreed to live the same building as Hatice so she can spend time with her grandson…..Hatice tells Gulsum that he asks about her, and even though they are divorced they are attached always because of their son…..

Police clerks again watching the screen, Can asks what is going on….Emir opens the cell and leaves while leaving bumps into Can who says you could say excuse me…..its not difficult….he excuses himself…and she tells him we won’t be waiting for you, and walks away mumbling sick.

Aysun catches Emir as he is leaving the police station, telling him that the police even feel sorry for him, that they call her when they bring him in, begging him to feel sorry for her too…..as Emir walks away asking where are you going again to the cemetery…..

Sanem and Yavuz chit chat about Kamil probably waiting for Yavuz on the other side of the door…..vacation is over…..Yavuz says that Kamil is a good person…..they talk about Can….the police officer….the family member where as Yavuz reminds Sanem Can is not a family member but someone who has been entrusted to him…..Kamil informs Yavuz what Can said….. Sanem says how rude….to which Yavuz responds that maybe demanding their presence was inappropriate since they do not know each other….Kamil tries to continue and Yavuz tells him that he will deal with Can himself personally…..tells Sanem to spend the day for herself…..

Emir is at the cemetery….Riza, Omer, and Zulal show up….Riza just embraces Emir and cries, Emir shows no reaction towards Riza other than standing respectfully in front of him……

Yavuz shows up police station…looking for Can and asks Can where he can find Can, she asks why….he says he wants to ask how he is she responds you cannot ask, he is surprised and she responds Can is gone…he asks the male officer where he can find Can, and he informs him that she is there in behind him….he asks what do they call people like you, he chases after her asking what do they call people like you. She apparently knows who is….he responds you did not accept my greetings, so we decided to come personally, she asked how many of you are there…Yavuz is confused….she explains you are talking in plurals so I am asking how many of you are there…he asks are you accusing me of being a gang member…to which she responds yes and I don’t think it would be too difficult. He explains that he committed a single crime and paid his debt….that is why he could not be near your father at the end….she tells him that we were with him at the end as his family, you can be comfortable we did not need you……he says you do not like me….she responds I don’t know you….he said good response, first you should get to know me before you judge me….the words judge do not match your personality, do not waste my time…..I know what it is that you want from me and informed your messenger as well and I am not going to say anything else to you, a second class lowlife who earns his living with dirty work…..you know something I always wanted to be a police officer because that is how my father raised me….in order to forget the dirty things he did while he was with your organization my father paid his dues….do not appear in front of me again.

Mehmet is in Turkmenistan…checking to see if Riza has returned to Istanbul….Seher promises to take good care of Riza since he allowed her back into the house…..who would have thought that these 4 walls would have see all this….who would have thought I would be the lady of this house….speaking to Zehra saying she is the lady of the house, and then to Feriha you lived a romance like in fairy tales but your fairy tale ended sadly, what can I say your life was sad in this world, hoping that in the other world you are happy.

Seher is surprised that Riza tells Zulal enter this is now your home also…..tells Seher to show her to her room…..Seher says she did not know anything about Zulal coming, that she would have prepared for her arrival…asking how many days she would be staying….Zulal informs her she is not a guest, that she will be attending university, that Riza is going to educate her……they talk about the importance of a mirror, then the doll….how Feriha loved them…..Seher introduces herself….Zulal says I know I may have just arrived but I know all of you……

Aysun explains coming to the building is so difficult….Koray agrees…the old days, Feriha…and the Emir who was besides Feriha….Aysun responds…..The Emir that was besides Feriha…the Emir that was Emir…..its only been 3 months….I have nothing to say with him going through his grieving but it is like my son is a walking dead man, Koray my son is not living….it is like he is saying he would rather die and let it be over with….my son is not acting human anymore, but son is not living, and there is nothing we can do about it….again today I got a call from the police, once again he got in trouble….is this how someone grieves…I am living each day with the fear of that final call….its like he wants to die and let everything be over with…is this how someone grieves…..Emir is not grieving he is calling death…..he is calling death because death would mean he would once again be reunited with Feriha…..Feriha was Emir’s life wasn’t she Emir has lost his life, he has nothing else to lose….nothing but an empty soul…no cannot accept this I cannot accept my son to be an empty soul…I will do whatever it takes to bring him back….

Hatice explains the conversation between Koray and Aysun to Zulal and Seher….and prays for Emir….Hatice says she was never expecting Riza to want to educate a person in this day and age financially it is not easy, but it is good that you are here, we need someone to help out around here….Zulal asks were they really in love, Seher says yes really in love, their love story was something everyone talked about, if these walls could only talk….its like they say when the unite its a lie, when the part its a fairytale…but what separated them was death…..Feriha was very lucky….Seher says has your brain turned into butter….you call being 7 feet under luck….to which Zulal responds not everyone is lucky enough to find that kind of love. Seher says she has a bad back lets switch beds…Zulal finds all the clipping under the bed regarding Feriha and Emir and starts reading them all…

Riza informs Hatice that she is not there to be a servant….she is going to be educated….Hatice tries to wake her…..Riza says she is tried let her sleep…Seher says I hope she is not the type who sleeps till noon everyday…Riza gets anger and says what is to you, I am going to educate her, she is going to school, she is going to study…understand that and do not expect anything else from her……Hatice says wake her and lets teach her a thing or two….Seher and Hatice chit chat about Koray and Gulsum’s divorce….Seher goes to wake Zulal and sees all the clippings….she asks Zulal did you read it all….the love story was probably the talk of the village…Zulal says “listen here, Seher or whatever, I did not only memorize the prince of the story I also memorized the evil witches of this fairy tale I know all about you, Zehra anne told me everything that you did, I have one thing to say to you do not think I am Feriha….I am not Feriha.”

Riza asking if she slept well….Seher complaining that the repainting of the building is still ongoing….she notices Emir outside….like a lost puppy dog…Zulal says not a lost dog but a hurt wolf, they would sometimes come down into the village, and they would be shot on site so that they would not reach the houses, the would run away after they had been wounded , but they would not return to which they came from they would just wander in the distance just like this….just like this….suffering not knowing where to go…pain…..you can see the pain dripping on him……Riza says stay away from the window…..close the curtains….

Seher sends Koray a text that Emir is in the park….Koray tries to talk to Emir and he says leave me alone…..I am not leaving you alone…who am I, I am your brother, I am Koray, the man who is trying to help you your brother….Zulal asks is that Seher answers yes his blood brother, and the ex son in law of Hatice, with Gulsum going to the east to teach, the child stayed with his father….Hatice says stop gossiping…Koray says lets talk for 2 minutes….I don’t want anything….ok my brother…a wolf just like a wounded wolf…….

Cansu tells Lara you have gotten used to coming to the hairdresser every day….Lara responds I have no choice being in the fashion industry I need to keep up an image…I must always be presentable…Cansu says you have a career and school what am I going to do…its like this school is never going to end….Lara tells her to stop blowing things out of proportion she needs to get a grip and get back on track…

Hatice speaking another superintendent who just replaced Gulfidan in the apartment she worked at…..they cannot understand why Riza has taken on the responsibility of educating another girl….they thought he would retire to the village…apparently Omer was a handful back when he was in the village and things have not gotten any better….

Sanem shows up at the same hair salon requesting a manicure and all hell breaks loose between Sanem and Cansu…Cansu accusing her of being a freeloader..the rumors are true that Sanem is with Yavuz Sancaktar….Sanem tells the other women that Cansu is her step daughter….and that she has always been jealous.

Aysun and Can in the car….she is teasing him with being popular with the girls….he accuses her of only pretending that she cares…..that his brother always comes first…but he is not complaining…..he misses him too, she informs him that she got the extra key to Emirs apartment and that they are going to surprise him…she drops him off and says she will be back….

Emir shows up doing heavy work…the workers are happy to see him…he does all the work…they sit back and watch….
Aysun tries to get Unal to get involved with their son….he is on the verge of bankruptcy….she says as usual he only thinks about himself….she asks when was the last time you saw your son….he does not have a phone….he is living in the slums….what do you expect me to do hire a locksmith and break into his house….she tells Unal she is going to do whatever it takes to help their son…and he can continue with his gallivanting lifestyle that he started in Cyprus….

Seher is going out…Hatice tells her not to be late….Riza took Zulal shopping and bought her clothing so she would fit in at school….and not be embarrassed….Hatice says to Riza are you not spoiling this girl too much and spending all this money….yesterday you registered her at school, today you took her shopping and isn’t some of what you bought her a little too open for a girl who just came from the village…it not like I do not know your traits….but…Riza…..”Hatice….my daughter….to that room….her own room never entered that room with a smile on her face….” I pray for her everyday…but what kind of words are these that she never smiled…..”Not once did she every kiss me on the cheek and say father and walk out that door, and this is strictly because of me, because I did not allow it, I was even afraid from the kiss that my own baby would want to put on my cheek, I never did anything to make her smile, my baby, Feriha, was entrusted to me, all of our babies are entrusted to us by God, aren’t I right Hatice….but I could not take care of the one that was entrusted to me by God…I did many things wrong…..to Feriha….I made many mistakes….. Now God has given me another opportunity, Hatice, you were not able to take care of the person I entrusted to you, you committed many a sin….now take this entrustment and clear your sins…..

Koray and Kaan get into a taxi from one side and a girl from the other side….she wants to go to Besiktas, he to Etiler….she said you won’t be able to get another taxi…we will drop you off at Etiler and then I will continue to Besiktas…..

Can and Aysun show up a Emirs apartment….Emir shows up telling them to leave…Aysun explains that Can really wanted to see you and I got an extra key from the landlord last time I was here…..Emir again repeats for them to leave…..Can tells him I do not want to leave…Aysun says we miss you, we came see you and talk to you…Emir tells them no to worry…Aysun tells Can that Emir is right we showed up with out his knowledge…Can gets angry don’t you see, he will never invite us, he won’t want us, he will not talk to us…he is going to continue living here like a dead person…do not continue to con yourself mother…is this your son…is this my brother…just because you lost your wife….do you have to lose us too, my mother lose her son, and me lose my brother, Can that is enough….no mother is it not….Feriha has died, she is no longer, your running away, or hiding her will do nothing to bring her back to you…immediately tell your brother that your are sorry…I am no longer anyone’s son or anyone’s brother do you understand me….I have no one to lose…and no one is going to lose me…leave…..my mistake…my mistake…I should have known this would happen, I should have known…

Kaan wants attention….Koray gives him the keys to play with…the girl says to not pay attention to him you have given him something he should not be playing with….she continues with taking a few moments and explaining why he should not be reaching for something is very important….Koray says “Are you serious”…she explains she is a pre school teacher and studied child psychology….then I suggest that you speak to your student parents about this stuff…unfortunately I have not been able to find a job but when I do I will remember that….and as you can see it does no good anyway…..he tells the cab to pull over…..tells Kaan that she is sure he can run faster than his father….the keys are no where to be found….in the taxi!!!!

The police get a call regarding domestic violence….when they show up they find Emir and the husband holding a cut bottle to his neck…begging the guy to go ahead and cut his throat….the get another call while on the way to the station and decide to proceed to the other call…instructing Emir to stay in the car….she eventually caught up with Emir….after backup shows up….she finds the bracelet on the ground gives it to Emir then she notices the stone and puts it in her pocket and she is reprimanded for taking on another call while she had someone in custody.

Unal is gambling away at Yavuz casino, Yavuz and Kamil discussing Can that she was a female….hard….but not a male….and a police officer to top it off…..Yavuz says that its been a long time since he was reprimanded by a woman like that in a long time….she reminds him of Ece, same head strongest, same stubbornness, but its real….

Can is surprised that they almost got suspended because of Emir….the other policeman explains what they did was wrong with someone in custody….he called is anger…she calls it in love with her job….then your love for your job is playing with your common sense…she is surprised that he just got up and left….he is surprised that he walked around with bullets flying all around him…she pulls the stone from her pocket….she says its is not a surprise….he saves a life, runs into a burning building, get beaten up, walks around bullets flying…has a broken bottle being held to his throat…he obviously wants to die….

Emir notices the stone is missing from the bracelet

You take such good care of me….I cannot let anyone else take over….Kamil explains to Yavuz about the incident that took place the previous evening involving Can, but no harm came to her…..Yavuz wants to make some calls regarding the situation….

Female officer is asking when the hi society criminals is returning again….and the male officer is mocking her regarding Emir his hi society class and how all the female officers are waiting in line to catch him doing something wrong so that they can arrest him…the female officer responds that Can is leading in arrests amongst the females…she was not paying attention and did not heard the conversation she is trying to figure out who they are talking about…the other officer asks if she has been in outer space and cannot understand how Can really does not know who Emir is, Can says she does not follow yellow press she is too busy…she says why would she be so interested in someone who saves people at night and tries to get killed during the day….the female officer says that the story is truly a heartbreaking story….Can replies her heart does not get affected so easily… .the female officer has the story up on the screen regarding the death and the end of the fairy tale romance of both Feriha and Zehra…and that they were shot by Feriha’s ex-finance Halil….she then notices that the stone she found actually is part of the earring that Feriha is wearing on her wedding day…..

Hatice is happy that Koray wants her to baby-sit the his son….Riza has a dream feeling that she is calling him to come to the cemetery to pray for his daughter….he cannot make it…..My baby is calling me….Zulal offers to go and say a pray and sprinkle the water onto her grave (sprinkling water on a gave is done for religious purposes)…..

Emir at the grave…looking at the bracelet and its missing stone….Can goes to Emir’s house…Unal shows up….asking if there is a problem…she says no I am here to give him something….Unal is surprised that Emir has a police friend and had this been a earlier time I would have been surprised, she responds I am not his friend…and attempts to give him the stone….Unal says I was trying my luck that I might see him knowing that I would not, and I am sure that you see him much more than I do….Can says I said a few minutes ago we are not friends….I know I said that because you are the police….

Kamil calls telling Yavuz that Sanem cannot reach you, you could not reach me either….Yavuz watches as Can and Unal leave the building Emir lives in and overhears Can ask do you know where I can find him, he lost something, and I have to give it back to him it will be good for him….Unal responds try the cemetery with his wife…if you know where he is why don’t you go…..I don’t have that much courage……Yavuz immediately tells his driver to go….

Saher is complaining regarding Zulal and how smart she thinks she is by offering to go to the cemetery in order to get into good graces…Hatice tells her to mind her business…Hatice says she is taking Huseyin/Kann upstairs…asks Riza is he is ok…he says to her to stop being so over protective…then he asks where Omer is…Hatice tells him that Omer called and was with friends and not worry.

Koray is still looking for a new nanny…..he does not want Hatice looking after him…she has him so over dressed that they child is sweating and they get into a confrontation about him getting sick….the towel is to keep him dry….he has spoken to 3 different companies about a new nanny and all refuse to work with him…are you happy now…she tells him yes….no one can talk care of him better than his grandmother….you get locked out and I bring you a key and you don’t even thank me….the girl from the taxi shows up and tells him she found the keys and remembered the apartment she asked about the young man with a boy and was directed there…he asked her if she is still unemployed she responds yes and he offers her a job as a nanny….

Emir at the cemetery: “Nothing was supposed to happen to you when I was by your side, but something happened, I could not protect you, protect you, I lost,. look I could not even protect your earring, it is now alone just like me” ………………………….
